The Victorian Stegmaier Mansion Bed & Breakfast in Wilkes-Barre PA has made national news!!
.
Modern Bride magazine chose the Stegmaier Mansion for a Victorian Bridal photo shoot that took place recently.

The Stegmaier is near and dear to my heart, I work there part time doing Victorian tours, my Victorian Society meets here and my Victorian Fashions At The Mansion DVD was filmed there.

What a magnificent place!!
See for yourself and read the press release.

So glad you enjoyed seeing my items Our Film Props.
Thought you might be interested in these sites.

My friend Greg at NorthForkpets.com also does prop rentals.
His most recent antique bird cage rentals were for a Bill Blass ad.

His two other sites are also available, TearDropmemories and
MaidensMemoirs.com for rentals.

Victoriana Lady

Hi Jerry,
I agree, PA is great for antiques.
I do not have a shop, I am a traveling
Victorian era public speaker/re-enactor.
I recommend a great antique shop owned by a dear friend of mine.
www.TearDropmemories.com
It is located in New Hope PA.
His inventory is amazing!
You might be interested in his antique books as well.
Glad you enjoyed my pictures.
Regards,
Victoriana Lady

I do many shows in PA and to me Pa is is the best area for Antiques and the Countyside in lovely. I specialize in Antique Military - Civil War, Indians Wars Spanish American War etc.
I also enjoy any antiques and your pictures are great. Do you work out of a shop - if so were is it located. I am in Pa once a month and would stop by if near my show locations.

Hello, I am quite interested in Victorian garments and have acquired some interesting pieces. I would like to know more about the time periods ie early, mid or late Victorian or Edwardian. Cheers, Maureen

Hi Lisa,
It all depends on the textile.
I have 2 artivles on my website about textile and quilt care, see if these help:
http://www.materialpleasures.com/Textile-Care_ep_28.html
http://www.materialpleasures.com/Quilt-Care_ep_27.html

If you have a specific item in mind, I would be happy to try to help.

My best,
Dana
