Well, I'm really just getting started myself. Daryle's book is very informative and a quick read. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

my frames are wood and gesso (sim. to the frames I have in my photos),their not in bad shape so I don't think they require a pro. to fix them. Or they may turn out like the chair I tried to recane. Still undone!

Hi Tom;
I see you used Arrowroot and Elmer's. can I ask what you were using it for? I have several antiques frames that I want to repair.Do you think that A&E would work? as far as your doll go's I think it would be at least the 30's and German,altho sometimes the shoes can indecate era. Flat shoes on a china are around 1860's ,1880"s had heels.

I would charge a buyer premium if my buyer did not want to deal with someone unknown on the internet. But today, many of my customers buy on ebay and everywhere else. So I think if I can help my customers find what they want, they will keep coming back to me and referring their friends. Part of that under promise - over deliver mentality from earlier in this century...

On the Peruvian God statue, it was an antique dealer that told us it was peruvian turquoise. Thanks.
